I brought my gentle, older dog to Carol for treatment, somewhat hesitantly because of his shyness, and also wondering how he would react to the unfamiliarity of acupuncture. To my surprise and relief, he settled in on a soft bed right away, closed his eyes, and trusted Carol to bring him comfort through her healing hands and kind heart – which she did in an amazing way. As his energy and mobility diminished, he would always rally when I asked, “Do you want to go see Carol?” We visited Carol on the last full day of his life, and took with us such comfort and peace.
